Our 2025 theme, “Riding the Winds of Change”, focuses on the powerful shifts in the astrological gestalt this year. Pluto has moved definitively into Aquarius, the sign it will occupy for the next 19 years. Pluto could transform and empower humanity in many positive ways, but this will require strengthening the values that benefit all living beings. The Moon Nodes move out of Aries/Libra early in January into Pisces/Virgo. Over the next 18 months, we will learn to be nonjudgemental and compassionate, letting go of criticism, analysis and perfectionism. Three of the four 2025 eclipses are in Pisces and Virgo and will be visible in Aotearoa. The cycles between Pluto and other planetary bodies develop during the year, culminating in a Grand Trine from Libra/Gemini in late September when Uranus and Sedna push the transformative evolutionary energy to the max.
